We are proud to announce that V2C Inc has earned the 2026 Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid, formerly known as GuideStar. This recognition reflects our deep commitment to transparency, accountability, and trust with our donors, partners, and community.
What Is Candid?
Candid is the world’s largest source of nonprofit information, formed through the merger of GuideStar and Foundation Center. Their platform provides comprehensive data on millions of nonprofits, helping donors, foundations, and the public make informed decisions about the organizations they support.
Candid’s Seal of Transparency program recognizes nonprofits that go above and beyond in sharing information about their mission, finances, leadership, and impact. Each seal level (Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum) represents a deeper commitment to openness.
What the Gold Seal Means
Earning the Gold Seal of Transparency means that V2C has shared comprehensive information about our organization, going beyond basic transparency to include:
- Mission and programs: what we do and who we serve
- Leadership: the people guiding our organization
- Financials: how we steward the resources entrusted to us
- Goals and strategy: where we’re headed and how we plan to get there
- Impact and results: measurable outcomes that demonstrate our effectiveness
The Gold Seal represents a significant step beyond the Silver level, requiring organizations to share detailed information about their goals, strategies, and the impact of their work. It signals to donors and partners that V2C is committed not just to being open, but to demonstrating real results.
